1) To strengthen the research, development and innovation capacities of researchers and young scientists at Egyptian Institutions so as to increase their competitiveness

2) To encourage research institutions to focus on the formulation of a medium-term strategy for research internationalization and valorization in Egypt, accounting for the social, economic, environmental and institutional sustainability

3) To encourage scientists and post graduate students to participate in EC funding programmes

4) To improve the capability of researchers in writing competitive research proposals
