Force Project

Methodology

With a consortium of 4 partners, FORCE will build on the existing range of expertise, address the gaps in knowledge in NIOF and will also improve NIOF’s capacity for transferring scientific research and technological advancements into practice, following a “learning by doing” approach by integrating:

  • Training courses - involving personnel from NIOF, Egyptian Universities and relevant Egyptian bodies
  • Workshops - in which NIOF personnel will connect with experts from the EU on key strategic topics
  • Field experiments - which will be designed and conducted by NIOF in close collaboration with EU Partners
  • Course books- a guide to assist local trainers in the main principles of Horizon 2020 and recommended best practices for sustainable aquaculture and fisheries management
